I.R. Iran’s pavilion was held at Biotechnica 2015 exhibition

 Biotechnica 2015 exhibition which is known as
the greatest event in the biotechnology throughout Europe was held in Hannover,
Germany, October 6-8, 2015. This year edition of this biannual exhibition drew
a great number of visitors including more than 10000 visitor of high caliber
mostly from Europe, Unites States and Asia as reported by the executive board.

One
of the differences of this year Biotechnica exhibition was the presence of I.R.
Iran’s pavilion which attracted the attention of many visitors even other
exhibitors. I.R. Iran’s pavilion comprised of 9 companies successfully
introduced the products and capabilities of Iranian manufacturers. Companies
participating in Iranian national pavilion including Sinagen, Ariogen, Kowsar
Biology, Tabiaat Gara Biotechnology, Farayand Pardis Sina, Noor Sanaat Ferdows,
Puyesh Daru, Tofigh Daru and Zist Daru displayed their products in
biotechnology, agriculture and pharmaceutical domains.

Iranian
national pavilion was held at the greatest biotechnological event in Europe
with the support of export services corridor of knowledge-based products of
vice-presidency for science and technology. Establishment of Iranian pavilion
was in the following of extensive efforts of vice-presidency for science and
technology to support knowledge-based companies and it was done with an aim to improve
the export of knowledge-based products and providing preliminaries for further
cooperation with foreign sector. Due to the importance of biotechnology domain
as one of the most promising fields in Iran as well as recent significant progress
achieved in this field, participation in reputed international exhibition such
as Biotechnica not only is considered as an efficient way to introduce Iranian
products to foreign markets but also it can as well be a platform for
cooperation with foreign sector, investment and transfer of technology.          

During
the exhibition, numerous visitors attended the Iranian pavilion. Even in the
pharmaceutical section which had been augmented to the exhibition for the first
time, a large number of pharmaceutical companies visited the Iranian pavilion.
According to the reported conclusions, several marked achievements were
resulted from this visitations.

Other
than experts and businessmen, Iranian pavilion hosted some special guests.
Dr. Ghaneii, secretary of Biological Development
and Mr. Zohuri, counsel general of I.R. Iran in Hamburg were among the
distinguished government officials who visited the Iranian national pavilion and
Iranian companies’ achievements on the second day of exhibition and discussed
current issues with Iranian manufacturers.
