added.
According to the Public Relations of Tech-Market Services Corridor, Dr.
Aqamiri indicated the role of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council in
the success of this technology in various sections such as medicine and
filtration, and especially in the efforts made for the commercialization
of technology in the ‘Tehran 20’ show broadcasted by channel 5 of the
IRIB, and continued, “In the past, technologists had less facilities in
order to patent their inventions in foreign institutes. This process has
been facilitated with the activities carried out in Iran Nanotechnology
Initiative Council through the provision of support for patenting in
Europe and the United States for plans that can be presented at
international levels.”
“Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council was the first institute in which
Tech-Market Services Corridor was formed in order to facilitate and
support the commercialization process and the presentation of technology
development services,” he added.
Referring to the process of service providing in the Corridor, Aqamiri
said, “In the last year, 37% of Iran’s international patents was
allocated to nanotechnology due to the activities of Tech-Market
Services Corridor in Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council.”
According to the Secretary of the 2nd National Festival Science to
Practice, the process of supporting technologists in the supportive
structure of Tech-Market Services Corridor is the provision of support
for the presentation of commercialization services to technologists
through covering a part of their services’ costs, and through allocating
subsidy to them.
“The present mechanism of Tech-Market Services Corridor puts the
technologist in a path in which he/she no longer feels lonely in taking
all the required steps for the commercialization process. The structure
can find an investor for the plan of a technologist, or it can help
him/her with the marketing of the final product.” Dr Aqamiri stated.
“With the help of Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council, we are going
to extend this section to all other strategic technology councils.”
The 2nd Science to Practice Festival and Exhibition and the achievements
of various fields of technology in provinces all over the country were
introduced in the interview. Science to Practice Festival was held in
Imam Khomeini’s Great Mausoleum from September 5 to 8, 2011, and
Tech-Market Services Corridor had participated in it with 16 agent
stations that provide technology services.
