Pursuant to the willingness of the Iranian organisations to participate
in the Int’l Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) Award, and to
create opportunity for the Iranian organizations to join its
competitions, Tech-Market Services Corridor took part in the ceremony as
the supervising member in addition to carrying out the information
giving duty and covering the expenses of the participation of
knowledge-based companies active in the field of nanotechnology.
In the competition section of this global award, companies like Tam Iran
Khodro, Foolad Mobarakeh, Sazeh Gostar Saipa, Petrochemistry Technology
Research, and Loabiran competed at the national level, and companies
like Tam Iran Khodro, Isfahan Foolad Mobarakeh Complex, and Loabiran
qualified for the next stage at the continental level.
MAKE Global Foundation was established in 1998 after an agreement
between 15 important international organisations in the world including
General Motors and SIEMENS on the use of knowledge management and to
support the use of knowledge in organisations. The objective of the
foundation was to measure the amount of added value caused by knowledge
management in organisations.
13 editions of the Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise (MAKE) Awards have
been held at international level since 1998. A number of 2,000 important
organisations in the world take part in the ceremony every year. MAKE
award is given to the companies which make knowledge-based activities.
This award is one of the most creditable international awards in the
field of management of knowledge, innovation, and intellectual property,
which is held with the tight competition among the innovative
organisations active in IT, automobile manufacturing, petroleum and gas,
etc.
The competitions of this award are classified in the three levels of
national, continental, and international. Each year, the top three to
five companies at the national level qualify to participate in the
continental level next year, and the top three companies in each
continent qualify for the next international level.
