In this short video, IMDb attempts to answer: Where was Batman?
After the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, is staging a show to take over the criminal underworld in Gotham. Aside from a Bat-signal in the season finale, we never got to see Robert Pattinson make a cameo as The Penguin. Colin Farrell fought hard to create his own version of The Penguin Smoking Tobacco in The Batman (2022), but he failed.

However, in his own series, the character is depicted as an occasional tobacco user, preferring cigars. The umbrella falls and the logo is replaced by the Warner Bros. logo.
So, the first episode is done and it was great
Graham Norton is introduced by genre: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024). I’ve never seen Farrell so invested in the character. Yes, he wears a thick suit, but you would never know it.
He is a New York mobster, a wise guy
His attitude, his body language, his voice make you immerse yourself in the character and see only the Penguin. This is not related to any other live TV penguins, Burgess Meredith or Robin Lord Taylor. He is a Scorsese mobster, but without the sleazy language.
Very entertaining and highly recommended
The Penguin is the middle man in the mafia organization. Up until now, he has been biding his time, moving slowly into the crowd, and then when the Riddler blows up the city’s sea wall and his boss is killed in that movie, he sees an opportunity to move up in the world. Now begins the game of cross, double cross and, I think, triple cross.
